He spoke of his undying love and admiration. His years of absolute commitment to being with me. He spoke of forever with me as I stared into his inconsistent eyes.

So cute. What did you say?

I clapped for him. I clapped because I know he had just delivered a great speech.

You’re soulless

No. I’m filled with too much soul to recognize love when I see it and this is not it. This is theater. It is sweet words, great performance, and more words but that is all it will ever be -Words.
